Prepare For Banking During A Hurricane

The 2008 Hurricane Season has arrived.

Below are a few things that should help you prepare for your banking needs in the event you are forced to be away from home during a hurricane.

bulletEnroll in online banking to have the ability to transfer funds, review accounts or send bill payments from any computer. Stop payments can also be placed
bulletUse Access24 Phone Banking to transfer funds, review accounts or make payments to accounts. If you are a merchant and want to verify that one of our checks has sufficient funds, this can be done through the selection "merchant services".
bulletPrepare a list of the bank’s phone number, website address, and your account numbers. You will need your login instructions and passwords, but keep them separate from account numbers. Make sure these items are put in waterproof plastic bags.
bulletTake your banking card and extra checks with you.
bulletVideo your home contents for inventory in case of loss. Take a copy of your insurance policy.
